The data in the “cookie” about your website visit (the time of visit and your IP address) is transmitted to and stored on Google’s servers in the USA. Google uses this information to evaluate website visit habits, create reports on these, and provide further services relating to the website and internet use for XY.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings; however, in this case certain functions of the website may not be fully available. By using the website, you consent to Google processing the above information in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
If you wish to manage or disable cookie settings, you can do so on your own device via your browser. Depending on your browser's toolset, you can generally find the location of cookies, cookie, or tracking functions—usually under Settings, within Privacy settings—where you can specify which tracking features you permit or block on your device.
Users who do not want Google Analytics to report on their visit may install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. This add-on instructs the Google Analytics JavaScript scripts (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) not to send visitor data to Google. Users who have installed the opt-out browser add-on will not participate in content experiments either.
To disable Analytics web activity, visit the Google Analytics opt-out page (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and install the appropriate extension for your browser. For details about installing and uninstalling the add-on, see your browser's help.
